We are very proud to be part of the consulting team that gained planning permission for the redesign of the former HMRC site on the edge of the Saltaire World Heritage site. Detailed planning permission was granted last week for this fantastic urban regeneration canal side scheme with a landscape focus creating 289 new homes, and new commercial space in a fantastic historical location.
In collaboration with Axis Architecture, Natural Dimensions prepared the townscape impact assessment and provided designs for a new riverside park, a new central park, canalside plaza, street designs, community gardens, SUDS inclusion, flood compensation zones, and improved multimodal connectivity to help create a new sustainable community in sympathy with the heritage around it.
