‘REASSURINGLY ROBUST’ LANDSCAPE AND VISUAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT REPORT HELPS WIFI TELECOM MAST SECURE PLANNING PERMISSION

A PROPOSED WIFI TELECOM MAST ON CROKER HILL, SOUTH OF MACCLESFIELD, WAS APPROVED AFTER AN LVIA WAS SUBMITTED

CHESHIRE EAST COUNCIL considered the LVIA report prepared by Natural Dimensions Ltd, which included a cumulative assessment taking into account nearby wind turbines, to be ‘REASSURINGLY ROBUST’ and approved the application based on its the results. The site for the lattice mast is near to the existing BT telecom mast on Croker Hill and lies in Open Countryside beyond the Green Belt within the Peak Park Fringe Local Landscape Designation Area. The LVIA carefully considered appropriate landscape and visual receptors before considering the proposals to be acceptable.   For more information on the project please click here
