In collaboration with award winning UK property developer Artisan, Natural Dimensions has led on the design of the outdoor space for o green community zone in the first phase of an urban village in the centre of Kirkstall, Leeds.
The village is planned as a climate resilient, low carbon community green zone with tree lined streets, pedestrian zones, community gardens, orchard planting and allotment beds. Surface water is collected through tree planted roadside catchment beds and sloped bio-swales which run in a green spine through the middle of the development. Part of the site is on podium and is designed as contiguous garden space, providing private and community garden terraces.
